Show Notes

Thar’s gold in them thar Amazonian Rainforests! This week Meghan takes us on a harrowing journey through the ongoing history of Canadian mining corporations. We discover that a massive portion of our economy is based around horrific neocolonial operations across South America and Africa. Tailing ponds, clear-cutting, death squads: you name it, Canadians are doing it. We consider how feminism could solve this whole issue, and ruminate on how our oh-so-polite country is arguably more psychotically destructive than our neighbours to the south.

Our theme song is “Mega Guillotine 2020” by the prophetic and powerful AJJ. Go buy their newest album Good Luck Everybody for instructions on magicks dark and terrible.
